St. George's Church, Madaba
St. George's Church in Madaba is a Greek Orthodox church built in 1896 over the remains of a Byzantine sanctuary. Its floor preserves the Madaba Map, the oldest known mosaic map of the Holy Land, drawing pilgrims and scholars to this small Jordanian town.
