St. Anthony's Shrine, Colombo
St. Anthony's Shrine at Kochchikade in Colombo is one of Sri Lanka's most beloved churches, dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua and visited by Catholics, Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims alike. Rebuilt and enlarged over nearly two centuries, it is a national shrine known for answered prayers; it was struck in the 2019 Easter bombings and has since been restored.
