Metropolitan Cathedral of Guatemala City
The Metropolitan Cathedral of Guatemala City, built between 1782 and 1815, is one of the finest colonial churches in Central America, blending Baroque and Neoclassical styles and engineered to withstand earthquakes. It faces the Parque Central and is the seat of the Archdiocese of Guatemala.
