La Paz Cathedral
The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace stands on Plaza Murillo in La Paz, one of the highest cathedrals in the world at over 3,600 metres. Begun in 1835 and completed in 1925, its monumental Neoclassical form adjoins the presidential palace at the civic heart of Bolivia.
