Hallgrímskirkja
Hallgrímskirkja is the largest church in Iceland and one of the most photographed buildings in the country, its 74-metre tower rising over Reykjavík. Designed by Guðjón Samúelsson to evoke the basalt lava flows of the Icelandic landscape, it took over forty years to build and was completed in 1986.
